For this project, each student had to choose a type of food to make out of clay. After changing up my ideas about five times, I finally settled on bacon and eggs. I thought that this would be a good food to make because the bacon requires texture, while the eggs do not. The use of simplicity and complexity show good contrast between the bacon and the eggs.
I really enjoyed this project. I think that before this, I had very limited knowledge of clay. I had only ever made one thing out of clay, and it was not that great. But now I have a lot more knowledge of clay and how to work with it, achieving value and texture.
